Selection process for the Zambia Under-15 national team that will participate in an eight-team junior tournament in Croatia this September is gathering momentum.
Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has been managing the regional trials that began a week ago in Lusaka, Kabwe and the Copperbelt.
Micho will hold final team selection back in Lusaka starting on August 31.
The Croatia tournament will run from September 21-28.
"We have three teams going into the final selection after we picked the best 25 from the Copperbelt who will compete with 25 from Lusaka and other players from the other region," Micho said.
"In the next seven days, we need to choose 18 field players and three goalkeepers that will go to Croatia for a tournament where Qatar will represent Asia, Chile will represent South America, Zambia representing Africa while there will be five countries representing Europe.
