Cape Town City recently announced that they had a clean bill after they conducted their Covid-19 tests. A few Premier Soccer League outfits also came out and confirmed positives cases of players and staff, the tests have been done following the green light given to the resumption of football. 

 

Frunsports caught up with Edmilson Dove, "I mean it was okay but at the same time quite scary, knowing the fact that at some point we need to go to the shops to get Groceries and you never know what can happen, anyway, we been doing our best to follow the protocol and make sure we always wearing masks, gloves, and carrying the sanitizer along".

 

The Mozambican born defender has been an important member of the Citizens, he has made twenty-three Absa Premiership appearances this season and finding the back of the net on three occasions.  He joined the  City in 2017 from Clube Ferroviário de Maputo.

 

"I mean we adjusting into a new reality, we been away from the field for such a long time and individual sessions are what will make a difference when we return to normal sessions with the team because the body will not start completely from zero. Of course, it’s difficult but helpful ".
